This graph is a bar graph showing the number of immigrants changed over time in the south. The reason's for these movements were because of terrorism from the KKK. Also, they wanted to get away from the sergregation by moving to the North because black men could then vote and eventually woman could to(1920) and also to escape the racial segregation of the Jim Crow laws. Another reason for the mass moving of the blacks is the Boll Weevil attacked the south cotton fields in 1910s which was a beetle that ruined the farming cuasing the blacks to look for other employment.

As a group we strongly believe that segregation is unlawful and inhumane. Segregation has harmed minorities in our country for years since our country first developed back in the mid 1800's and during the civil war. We have discriminated, segregated, threatened, beat, and killed minorities for too many years. These inhumane acts are not the American way.
Segregation has greatly impacted our country, especially to African Americans. During these times of segregation, blacks and other minorities were beaten and killed simply for the color of their skin or their sentimental beliefs. Blacks went to separate schools, restrooms, drinking fountains, and even restaurants and many more colored only places. Many minorities and blacks were scared of daily life due to the hatred and violence portrayed against them, making life an everyday battle field.

Quotes
We come then to the question presented: Does segregation of children in public schools solely on the basis of race, even though the physical facilities and other 'tangible' factors may be equal, deprive the children of the minority group of equal education opportunities? We believe that it does. Earl Warren
“When a man has emerged from slavery, and by the aid of beneficent legislation …. There must be some stage in the process of his elevation when takes the rank of a mere citizen or, a man, ceases to be the special favorite of the laws, and when his rights as a citizen, or a man, are to be protected in the ordinary models by which other men’s rights are protected.”
